At TCS, the Colt's Cafeteria, led by Mrs. Christy and her staff, have been enthusiastically celebrating National School Lunch Week. Students have participated in treasure hunts and have won prizes, while the PK and kindergarten classes created artwork that is now displayed in the cafeteria and our PK students received humorous banana minions as a reward. The celebration will continue today, and we are so excited. 💜

Class 107 at WTS read Bonaparte Falls Apart, drew the characters and setting, and made our own Bonaparte. Bonaparte was always falling apart and needed help from his friends. We are thankful for friends that help put us back together when we fall apart. ♥️

At TCS, Ms. Vereen’s 6th graders went on a few book speed dates! Students were given 5 minutes per station. During this time, they read the book’s profile, skimmed through the first few pages, and got a feel for the book.
Book speed dating is a fun and engaging way to introduce students to a variety of books in a short amount of time, helping them discover new genres and authors they might enjoy.
